Cosmos Midwifery grew from Chloë Lubell's vision of creating a practice where clinical excellence, intuition, and respect for each person's autonomy could exist side by side. After founding the practice in 2020, she welcomed Jenna Hutchens in 2021, whose experience and shared philosophy helped shape Cosmos into the practice it is today. Together, we offer comprehensive prenatal, homebirth, and postpartum care, holistic gynecology, fertility and IUI, menopause and gender-affirming hormone therapy, and abortion care. We build lasting relationships with our clients, offering thoughtful, evidence-based care that honors each person's values, goals, and lived experience.

Chloë and Jenna came to midwifery by different paths, but they share a commitment to compassionate, respectful care and reproductive justice. Chloë's work is informed by her Jewish upbringing, Quaker education, and lifelong activism, as well as experience spanning tertiary hospital care, private practice, and homebirth. Jenna began her career in grassroots reproductive health advocacy and spent more than a decade as a labor and postpartum doula before becoming both a certified nurse-midwife and family nurse practitioner. Her experience in emergency nursing, sexual assault forensic care, homebirth, birth center, and hospital practice allows her to care confidently for clients across a wide range of reproductive health needs. Together, they bring complementary expertise, decades of experience, and a deep commitment to helping people navigate every stage of their reproductive lives with confidence and support.
